488 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 16, House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Pacific Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Fields, Browne, Grove, Biggs, Henkle, Brewer, Hyland, Clarke, Kimmel, Carroll, Malone, Denson, Snyder, Earle, Welch—16. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller and Treasurer, when ascertaining the amount of paid up sub- scriptions to the capital stock of the Dorchester and Delaware Rail Road Company, to estimate the bonds of Dorchester county, which have been disposed of by the said company, as cash, and those remaining in the possession of said com- pany, as cash at a specified rate per cent. Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Grove, Browne, Henkle, Biggs, Hyland, Brewer, Kimmel, Clarke, Malone, Denson. Snyder, Earle, Welch—15. Fields, NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit the catching of Fish in nets by driving into the same, by thrashing on the water with poles or other instruments, Having been ordered to lie over, Was taken up on its third reading. Mr. Biggs submitted the following amendment: Amend section 1, line 6, by adding after the word "tribu- taries," the words following : "the waters within the limits |
