466 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 14, House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1 of the Act passed at the January session of the Legislature of Mary- land, 1865, chapter 110, entitled an Act to prohibit the grant- ing of license for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer, at or near Federalsburg, in Dorchester and Caroline counties, in the State of Maryland, and to re-enact the same with amendments. Which was read a first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Judicial Proceedings. Also, delivered, House bill entitled a supplement to the Act entitled an Act to incorporate a company to build a turnpike road from Lib- ertytown, Frederick county, through Johnsonville to Pipe Creek, passed January session, 1864, chapter 338. Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit- tee on Corporations. Also, delivered, House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to aid the Baltimore Humane Impartial Society and aged Womens' and aged Mens' Home. Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Finance. Also, delivered the following message : BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, March 13,1868. Gentlemen of the Senate : We have received your message, asking the return to your Honorable Body of the bill entitled an Act to repeal section 59 of Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws for Prince George's county, entitled "Hucksters," and tore-enact the same with amendments, and herewith return the same.
