"Baltimore City," insert the words "subject to the provi-
sions of Article 11, section 7, of the Constitution," so that
the section as amended will read as follows :

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock of said
Company shall be fifty thousand dollars, in shares of one hun-
dred dollars each, and all individuals and bodies corporate,
and the Commissioners of Anne Arundel and of Baltimore
county, subject to the provisions of Article 3, sec. 54, of the
Constitution, and the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore,
subject to the provisions of Article 11, sec. 7, of the Consti-
tution, are hereby authorized and empowered, &c.

Amend section 4 by inserting after the word "subscriber,"
inline 2, the following words : "On giving two weeks notice
of the time and place thereof, in one or more newspapers
published in Baltimore county, Anne Arundel county and
Baltimore city.

In section 9, line 7, strike out the word "fifty,"

Add at end of section 9, provided that this Company shall
not be authorized to charge tolls on any vehicle or horse
passing over this road for the purpose of going to or from a
funeral.

And the bill as amended, passed by yeas and nays as fol-
lows :

passed at January session, 1860, chapter 303,

Endorsed : " Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Southern Mary-
land Railroad Company.

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."
