Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 2,3, 4 and 5, of Art. 45, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to Usury, and to re-enact the same with amendments, Being the order of the day, was taken up on its second reading. Mr. Carroll offered the following: Amend by striking out in line 4, sec. 2, the word "Six," and insert "Seven."
