Mr. Brown presented the petition of Jacob J. Michael, G. A.
Courtney, and twenty-eight other citizens of Harford county,
praying the passage of an Act to continue the present
school system in force till July 15, 1868.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Edu-
cation.
Mr. Jordan presented a petition from Washington Galt,
Joseph M. Thomson, W. H. Currens, and 221 other citizens
of Carroll county, praying the passage of an Act to continue
the present school system to the 15th July, 1868.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Edu-
cation.
Mr. Harden presented the petition of Daniel Birely and
ten others, praying the passage of a law authorizing the
County Commissioners of Carroll and Frederick counties to
subscribe to the capital stock of the Woodsborough and Pipe
Creek Turnpike Road Company,
Which was read and referred to the Carroll and Frederick
delegations.
Mr. Hall presented the petition of Upton Biggs, and 70
other citizens of Election District No. 10, Allegany county,
praying the passage of an Act to divide said district.
