In 15th line, 7th section, strike out "same" and insert "this Act." Which were adopted. Mr. Brewer offered the following amendment : Section 10. Strike out Montgomery where it occurs. Which was adopted. Mr. Hammond offered the following amendment : Section 10. Add Talbot. Which was adopted. The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. On motion by Mr. Maddox, Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to report a bill to be entitled "an Act to amend the 18th Article of the Code of Public General Laws relating to Clerks of Courts, by adding thereto a section imposing an additional duty on the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, in regard to public money received by him."
