prosecute such appeal with effect, and to pay and satisfy
the fine imposed by said Justice of the Peace, in case the
judgment shall lie affirmed, as also all costs adjudged by
said Justice of the Peace, and on all costs awarded by the
Circuit Court for the county to which said appeal shall have
been taken.

In 15th line, 7th section, strike out "same" and insert
"this Act."

Which were adopted.

Mr. Brewer offered the following amendment :
Section 10. Strike out Montgomery where it occurs.
Which was adopted.

Mr. Hammond offered the following amendment :
Section 10. Add Talbot.
Which was adopted.
And,

The bill, as amended, was read a third time and passed by
yeas and nays as follows :

On motion by Mr. Maddox,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to report
a bill to be entitled "an Act to amend the 18th Article of
the Code of Public General Laws relating to Clerks of
Courts, by adding thereto a section imposing an additional
duty on the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, in regard
to public money received by him."

On motion by Mr. Maddox,
It was

Ordered, That the Committee on Finance are requested to
report to the Senate the bill referred to that Committee en-
titled an Act to provide for the payment of a portion of the
