Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Long Green
and Jarrettsville Turnpike Company, in Harford and Balti-
more counties,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Manchester
Bail Road Company,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.

Act to incorporate the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line-
Bail Road Company, chapter 298,

Was taken up on its third reading.
Mr. Biggs offered the following amendment:

Amend section 2 by striking out the word "eighty,"
where it occurs, and insert eight.

Which was adopted, and the bill as amended read a third
time and passed by yeas and nays as follows :
