Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Corporations. Also, delivered House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Union Coal, Iron, Lumber and Manufacturing Company of Allegany county. Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Corporations. House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Johns Hop- kins Fire, Marine and Accident Insurance Company of the State of Maryland, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Lee, Browne, Maddox, Biggs, Miller, Clarke, Malone, Denson, Spates, Henkle, Snyder, Hyland, Walsh—14. NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Maddox, from the Committee on Judicial Proceed- ings, reported Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 26 of Article 38, of the Code of Public General Laws, and to enact the following in lieu thereof.
