House bill entitled an Act appropriating a sum of money
to be expended in removing the remains of the Confederate
dead, who fell in the battles of South Mountain, Crampton's
Gap and Antietam, or died of wounds received in said battles,
to the Antietam National Cemetery,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as.
follows :

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 129 of the
Acts of 1864, entitled an Act to add additional sections to
the 44th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, title
''Maryland Hospital," prescribing an additional oath to be
taken by the President, Vice President and Visitors of
the said hospital, and to reinstate the former President, Vice
President and Visitors of the said hospital in office,

Was this day sent to his Excellency, the Governor, tar his
approval.

Mr. Compon asked and obtained leave of absence for a
few days.

The Committee on the Penitentiary obtained leave to visit
Baltimore.

Mr. Clarke submitted the following :
