The consideration of Senate bill entitled an Act to incor-
porate the Baltimore Ice Company, with the amendment
thereto, was continued from yesterday.

On motion by Mr. Snyder,

The bill and amendment was made the order of the day
for Wednesday the 26th.

The following communication from His Excellency the
Governor, was received and read.

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, Feb. 18th, 1868.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

I have this day signed and transmitted to the Clerk of the
Court of Appeals, the following bills received from your
Honorable Body on the 14th and 17th instants;

An Act to authorize and direct the Treasurer to pay to
Mrs. Frances Miller, a sum of money due Wm. R. Miller,
deceased, for per diem and mileage, as a member of the
Legislature of Maryland, at the session of 1861.

An Act to repeal section 5, of Article 60, of Public Gen-
eral Laws, entitled "Marriages," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

An Act to authorize and direct the Judges of the Court of
Appeals of Maryland, to hear immediately the appeal now
pending in the said court, wherein the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, is the appellant, and the Union R. B. Com-
pany of Baltimore, the appellee.

An Act supplementary to an Act to incorporate Western
Bun Turnpike Company, passed in 1867, chapter 396.

An Act providing for the issue of executions on judgments
in Somerset and Worcester counties, against persons residing
in Wicomico county.
