Which was adopted.

Mr. Maddox from a select committee, reported

Senate bill entitled an Act empowering a trader to sell
license with stock of goods.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Glarke, from the select committee, reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to release to Wm. Watson,
Emily Watson and Thomas Watson, all the rights and in-
terest of the State of Maryland, in and to the personal estate
of Michael M. Mitchell, late of Baltimore county, deceased.

With the following amendments:

Amend 1st line, by striking out the words "Emily Watson
and Thomas Watson."

In 6th line, strike out the words "and Thomas Watson,
his stepson."

In the 10th line, strikeout the words "and whereas the
said Thomas Watson, hath departed this life since the death
of said Michael M. Mitchell, leaving Emily Watson, his
widow, and Thomas Watson his only son and personal repre-
sentative.

In the 15th line, strike out the words "and whereas the
said William Watson aid the said Emily and Thomas Wat-
son, the widow and representative of said Thomas Watson,
deceased, are in needy circumstances.

In the 3rd line, 1st section, strike out the words "Emily
Watson and Thomas Watson."

In the 4th line, 1st section, strike out the word "they,"
and insert "he."

In the 5th line, 1st section, strike out the words "and in
the same proportions," in the same line insert the word "he,"
ia the same line, strike out the words " and Thomas Watson,
deceased."

la the 6th line, strike out the word "children," and in-
sert "child."

Which were adopted,

And the bill read a second time.

Mr. Malone, from a select committee, reported

Senate bill entitled aa Act to add additional sections to the
Act of 1867, chapter 377, to be embraced in the 22nd Article
of the supplemental Code of Public Local Laws for Wicomico
county, sub-title Salisbury, to follow section 10, of said
Article.
