JOINT RESOLUTIONS.

Resolved, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Senators and Representatives from this State, in the Con-
gress of the United States, are hereby requested to urge upon
that body the passage of such laws as honor, justice and the
true policy of the country demands, in fully securing to all
naturalized citizens the same rights of person and property,
both at home and abroad, which are now possessed by the
native born.

Resolved, That a copy of the above Resolutions be for-
warded by the proper officers to each of our Senators and
Representatives in Congress.

Which were read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Federal Relations.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the 32d section of Article
22 of the Public Local Laws, title Worcester county, regu-
lating the terms of Court for said county, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read a first time, and referred to Messrs.
Smith, Holloway and Fooks.

The bill entitled an Act to change a part of the dividing
line between the 3d and 4th election districts of Baltimore
county,

Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :
