Being upon a second reading,

On motion of Mr. Bowlus,
Was recommitted.

The bill entitled an Act to make valid the levy of the
State tax made by the County Commissioners of Allegany
county for the year 1867,

was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act authorizing the County Commis-
sioners of Cecil county to build a bridge over Scotchman's
creek in said county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter
235, entitled an Act to repeal section 39 of Article 19 of the
Code oi Public Local Laws, relating to the County Commis-
sioners for Somerset county, and to re-enact the said section
39 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws relating
TO Somerset county, so as to read as follows,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 69 of Article 1 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title Allegany county, sub-
title "Fences," and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to the
Code of Public General Laws, Article 69, entitled Officers,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a

third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to enable Thomas Gemmell to
hold lands and dispose of the same,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to Arti-
cle 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick county,
relating to the powers and duties of the Mayor, Aldermen
and Common Council of Frederick City, to follow section

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
