Mr. Snyder, from a select committee, reported House bill
entitled an Act to open West Fayette Street extended, into
Baltimore county.
With amendment as follows :
Amend the title of the bill by striking out all after the
word " Act," where it occurs in the first line to the end of
the title, and insert in lieu thereof the following : to extend
and open West Fayette Street from its present terminus at
the western boundary of Baltimore city, into Baltimore
county.
Amend first section by striking out all after the word
"that," where it first occurs in the second line of the first
section to the word "be," where it occurs in the fourth line
same section, and insert in lieu thereof the following : West
Fayette street be extended and opened from its present ter-
minus at the western boundary of Baltimore city, into Balti-
more county, of the width of sixty-six feet, from the Calver-
ton Turnpike Road to the Garrison Forrest Road, and that
the same.
Amend 5th line, first section, by striking out the words
"the same."

ported favorably House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a
sum of money to repair and paint the State House, and im-
prove the grounds surrounding it.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Delaware Rail
Road Company to extend a branch, railroad across th'e State
line into Kent county, Maryland.
