Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act for the relief of William S.
Bowman.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act fixing the mileage of members
and officers of the General Assembly of Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Also,

A joint resolution in relation to Governor Swann's state-
ment in his message, of services rendered to the State of
Maryland by the Hon. Secretary of the Navy.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Federal Relations.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,
The order of business was postponed, and

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Western Run
and Reisterstown Turnpike Company,

Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
