Which was read assented to and sent to the House of Dele-
gates.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the Judges
of the Court of Appeals of Maryland to hear immediately
the appeal now pending in the said court wherein the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore is the appellant, and the Union
Rail Road Company of Baltimore the appellee.

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays
as follows :

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to secure the completion of the
Worcester Rail Road,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

On motion by Mr. Malone,

Leave of absence for ten days was granted Mr. Parker, of
Worcester.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an
Act to amend the Act of 1860, chapter 303, entitled an Act
to carry into effect the 8th section of the Act entitled an Act
for the promotion of internal improvements, passed at the
Decemher session, 1835, chapter 395, hy applying the unap-
propriated part of the appropriation made by said Act for
the purposes of internal improvements in Worcester county,
to the construction of the Worcester Bail Road and the Wi-
comico and Pocomoke Bail Road,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered House bill
entitled an Act authorizing the Commissioners appointed
under the Act of 1840, chapter 215, and its several supple-
ments, to invest certain money remaining in. their hands.
