The Senate joint resolution authorizing the State Libra-
rian to furnish Judges Martin, Tuck, Mason, Bowie, Weisel
and Crane with copies of the decisions of the Court of
Appeals,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate a company to
construct a turnpike road from Hagerstown to Cearfoss'
cross roads, in Washington county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Mutual Fire
and Insurance Company of Anne Arundel county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Deer Park
Turnpike Road Company of Baltimore county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed Jan-
uary session, 1866, entitled an Act to incorporate a company
to build a turnpike road from Union Bridge, Carroll county,
to Unionville, Frederick county, and enact a substitute
therefor,

Came up for a second reading.
On motion by Mr. Grove,

The reading of the bill was suspended, and a call of the
Senate ordered.

The Sergeant-at-Arms was sent to notify the absent
Senators.

On motion by Mr. Malone,

Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with,

And the bill was read a second time and ordered to be en
grossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Western Run
and Reisterstown Turnpike Company,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Lewis Tydings
and Henry Tydings, of Anne Arundel county, certain sums
of money erroneously paid into the Treasury,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

On motion by Mr. Kimmel, it was

Ordered, That all Senate bills of a general nature be printed
after their first reading.
