ceived.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Trustees of the camp-meeting property, in Baltimore county,
of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Great Falls Circuit to
sell and convey certain real estate in said county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the 89th section of
Article 16 of the Code of Public General Laws entitled
Chancery, and relating to process against non-resident in-
fant defendants, as amended by the Act of 1864, chapter 89,
and to insert in said Article, in lieu of the section so re-
pealed, the following section relating to process against non-
resident infant defendants,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 129 of the
Acts of 1864, entitled an Act to add additional sections to the
44th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Maryland Hospital," prescribing an additional oath to be
taken by the President, Vice President and Visitors of the
said hospital, and to reinstate the former President, Vice
President and Visitors of the said hospital in office,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

Mr. Henkle obtained permision to have it recorded on the
Journal that he would have voted yea on. the last mentioned
bill if present.

The joint resolution requesting the Governor to issue a
commission to the Hon. William T. Hamilton, as Senator
elect,
