The question recurred upon the adoption! of the motion
made by Mr. Malone, and it was determined in the negative
by yeas and nays as follows :

Mr. Walsh moved that the Senate adjourn until to-mor-
row at 12 o'clock.
Mr. Walsh withdrew the motion.

Mr. Hammond renewed the motion to adjourn until to-
morrow at 12 o'clock.

On the question being put, it was determined in the affir-
