Mr. Iglehart submitted the following order :
Ordered, That the Reading Clerk shall daily, immediately
after the roll call, announce to the House whatever appoint-
ments there may be on his table for the meetings of any of
the committees of this House.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Jordan submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal of this House
that Henry S. Davis is absent from this House in Baltimore
city on a special committee.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Deale submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the School Commissioners of Anne Arun-
del county be instructed to inquire into the expediency of
adopting a new school house in school district No. 4, in said
county.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Coudy submitted the following order :

Ordered, That this House will sit six days each week in-
stead of four, so that some legislation can be done.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Markland submitted the following order :

Ordered, That a waste-paper-basket be furnished for the
use of every three members of this House, by the Keeper of
the Hall, and the Chairman of the Committee of Claims, to
audit and foot the bill.

Mr. Conley submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Wm. Canby, Committee Clerk, have leave
of absence until Monday week.

The order was laid on the table.
Mr. Syester submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Committee on Education, report to this
House all such bills and systems of public schools, as in its
judgment it may seem proper, that shall or may be submitted
to it; and that such hills be printed and laid on the desks of
the several members.
