The Secretary of the Senate returned

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 6, 9,17 and 18,
of Article 55, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
State Librarian, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Amendments proposed:

Line 3, section 17, strike out the word 'use/ and substi-
tute augmentation.

Line 6, strike out the word ' usual,' and insert the word
annual.

The bill entitled an Act to legalize a supplement to the
Maryland Code containing the Acts of the General As-
sembly passed at the session of 1861, 1861-2, 1864, 1865,
1866 and 1867, arranged in Articles and sections to cor-
respond with the Code by Lewis Mayer, and to appropriate a
sum of money to purchase copies of the same, and to regu-
late their distribution,
