Gentlemen of the Senate :
We respectfully notify your Honorable Body that we have
adopted the report of the Committee appointed by an Act of
Assembly for the selection of a site and erection of a mansion
as a residence for the Governor of the State. The site se-
lected is the property owned by Mrs. M. E. Green, Mr. Geo.
E. Franklin, and Mr. James W. Alien.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Baltimore
and Ohio Rail Road Company, to lay a railroad track in cer-
tain streets in the City of Baltimore, and to make an appro-
priation for paying the expenses thereof, on account of and
for the interests of the tobacco fund,
Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
