Amendments proposed.

Amend section 1, line 3, by striking out all after the word
down to the word 'cents' in line 4, and inserting the fol-
lowing :

Three thousand, three hundred and eighty-nine dollars
and twenty.

Also, by adding at the end of the section the following :

John Murphy & Co., the sum of one thousand and thirty-
six dollars and seventy-five cents for stationery and books
furnished the State Library ; James Higgins the sum of
ninety-two dollars for expenses incurred in distributing
pamphlets on the resources of Maryland ; Thomas H. Moore
the sum of one hundred dollars for services as reading clerk
to the House of Delegates at the extra or additional part of

the session of 1S67. The Carmelite Sisters of Baltimore the
sum of one hundred and nineteen dollars and ten cents, to
reimburse them for taxes erroneously paid into the Treasury.
Daniel Caulk the sum of four hundred and thirty-nine dol-
lars and thirteen cents for work and materials in repairing:
