this State, and to report the result of said investigation for
the further action of this House ;
Which was adopted.

Mr. Iglehart, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
town of Lutherville, in Baltimore county ;

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Dutrow, Chairman of Select Committee,

(The rules being suspended,)

Reported favorably a bill entitled an Act for the protection
of wild game within the limits of Frederick, Baltimore and
Carroll counties ;

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Bowlus, from select committee, reported favorably a
bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the corporate
authorities of Frederick, Maryland, to subscribe to the
capital stock of the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line Rail-
road, a sum of money not exceeding two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars, the said sum of money to be raised by
taxation on the real and personal property of Frederick ;

Which was read a first time.

The following House hills were this day submitted to His
Excellency, the Governor, for his approval:

An Act entitled an Act to repeal sections 54, 55, 56 and 57
of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to
the Circuit Court for Washington county, and the manner
and times of holding the terms thereof, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

An Act entitled an Act to amend the 4th section of the Act
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
session, 1864, chapter 29, entitled an Act to repeal the 12th
section of an Act to incorporate the Kent county Rail Road
Company, passed on the 8th day of March, 1856, chapter
148, to add four sections thereto and to appoint four new com-
missioners in the place of four deceased commissioners.

An Act entitled an Act to repeal section 40 of Article 11 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Frederick coun-
ty," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

An Act to repeal the 53rd, 54th, 55th, 56th and 57th sec-
tions of Article 19 of the Public Local Law of Somerset
county, relating to finance.

The Speaker announced that the House had finished all
the business upon the Speaker's desk.

On motion of Mr. Nicolai,

At 1| o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned until to-morrow
at 12 o'clock, M.
