Mr. Corbin, Chairman of a select committee, reported
The Senate bill entitled an Act to improve the draw in the

bridge across the Pocomoke river, near the town of Newtown,

in Worcester county.

Said bill being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Corbin,

The further consideration thereof was postponed and the
bill made the order of the day for Monday, 30th inst.

On motion of Mr. Smith, of Worcester,

The vote by which the further consideration of the bill was
postponed,

Was reconsidered.

The bill then being upon a second reading,

On motion of Mr. Smith, of Worcester,
The bill was referred to the Committee on Internal Im-
provements.

The bill entitled an Act to amend certain portions of the
Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Cecil and Harford
Counties Boom Company, passed at January session 1867,
chapter 195, and to require said Company to remove certain
and all obstructions placed by the said Company in the Susque-
hannah river, in violation of their charter,

Was read a third time,

The question then being upon the passage of the bill,

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city demanded the previous ques-
tion,

Which was sustained.
