On motion of Mr. Mullin,
The bill was then indefinitely postponed.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage :

BY THE SENATE,

March 21, 1868.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We have received your message asking the return of the
bill entitled " An Act to require the Clerks to the County
Commissioners, and the Clerk to the Appeal Tax Court of
Baltimore city, to make out a copy of the revised assessments
of 1866, and return the same to the Comptroller of the Trea-
sury," and herewith return the same.

Secretary.
Which was read.

Also, returned the bill entitled an Act to require the seve-
ral Clerks to the County Commissioners and the Clerk to the
Appeal Tax Court of Baltimore city, to make out a copy of
the revised assessment of 1866, and return the same to the
Comptroller of the Treasury.

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

The vote by which said bill was passed was reconsidered.
The bill then being upon its passage,

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

The vote by which it was passed to a third reading,
Was reconsidered.
The hill then being upon its second reading,

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,
It was recommitted to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Mr. Latrobe submitted the following message :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 23, 1868.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We respectfully ask the return of House bill entitled "An
Act to add a new section to Article 36 of the Code of Public
General Laws, title Estrays and Vessels adrift."
