the compensation of the crier of the Court of Appeals, and of
the Sheriff appointed to attend said Court, under the Act of
1862 chapter 107, amending the same, repealing the same
and enacting a substitute therefor.

On motion of Mr. Sudler,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Crumpton Building and
Loan Association.

On motion of Mr. Slingluff,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill to change a part of the dividing line between
the third and fourth districts of Baltimore county.

On motion of Mr. Bowlus,

Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation to in-
troduce a hill to repeal sections 149, 150 and 153 of Article
11, of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to inspection
of flour in Frederick city, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion of Mr. Markland,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to introduce
a hill to refund to Charles Shipley, of Baltimore county, State
taxes paid in error by him to the collector of Baltimore city.

Mr. Wentz submitted the following order :

Ordered, That each member of this House be allowed
twenty copies of the Journal, provided he give notice of his
desire to have the same, to the Clerk of this House.

Which was read.

Mr. Chaisty submitted the following amendment :
Strike out all after the word ordered, and insert, that any
member of this House from the counties, may upon applica-
tion, be supplied with 15 copies of the Journal of the house.

On motion of Mr. Pentland,
The whole subject was laid on the table.

On motion,

Leave of absence for one day was granted from the sessions
of the House to Messrs. Davis, of Cecil, Richards, Touchstone,
Corbin, Mitchell, Loker, Riggs, Albaugh, Dutrow, Williams,
Wenner and Rose

On motion of Mr. Blake,

It was ordered to be entered on the Join rial that Mr.
Morse is absent from his seat in this House from sickness.

On motion of Mr. Holloway,

Leave of absence for five days was granted to Mr. Smith,
of Worcester, from the sessions of the House.

On motion of Mr. Clarke,

Leave of absence for two days was granted to Mr. Jones
irora the sessions of the House.
