AN ACT to make transcripts from the Books of the Inspectors of Tobacco,
Legal Evidence in the Courts of this State.

 

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, copies or transcripts
of manifests or other entries, from the books of inspectors of
inspector of tobacco, shall be good and admissible evidence in
all suits now depending or hereafter to be instituted in the

under the hand and seal of the inspector and verified by his or
their affidavit, to be true and accurate copies from the original
