SEC. 9. And be it enacted. That the commissioners elected
or appointed as aforesaid, and their successors, shall be, and
they are hereby constituted a body politic and corporate, by the

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That when, and as soon as the

justices of the levy court of Worcester county, shall be trans-

required to be performed by the said justices of the levy court
for Worcester county, and no appointment of justices of the
levy court for Worcester county shall thereafter be made, and

sioners of the tax for Worcester county, and all the duties re-
quired by law to be performed by them, shall be vested in and
exercised and performed by the said commissioners for Wor-
cester county, after they shall have become qualified as afore-
said.

sioners shall take such appeals, and note such transfers as the
commissioners of the tax are now required to take and note,
