regular panel of juors, to the county court of Talbot county,
shall be entitled to receive for each day in which he shall at-
tend as a juror, the sum of one dollar and fifty cents per day,
and in addition thereto, an allowance of six and a quarter cents
per mile, for every mile that his place of residence shall be
distant from the place of holding the county court for Talbot
county, to be levied, collected, and paid in the same manner
and at the same time, with his per diem allowance, and he
shall be entitled to receive mileage for each day such juror
attends the court.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That nothing contained in this
act shall be construed to allow any juror mileage in returning
to his residence during the time such juror shall be required
to attend the county courts of said county.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That it shall be the duty of the
sheriff summoning such jurors, to note upon the list of jurors
before he returns the same to the clerk of the county court,
the distance each juror summoned, resides from the place of

holding the county court, and the said clerk shall return a
copy of such list of jurors, with the distance of their respec-
tive places of residence, to the commissioners of Talbot county,
to enable them to make out the levy as aforesaid.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted. That all acts inconsistent with,
or repugnant to the provisions of this act, so far as the same
relates to Talbot county, be and the same are hereby repealed.
