SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners aforesaid,
are hereby authorized and required to levy upon the assess-
able property of said county, such sum or sums of money as
may be necessary for the purposes of the act.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That James Forrest, Luke W. Barber, and James Thomas, be,
and they are hereby appointed commissioners in addition to
those appointed for Saint Mary's county by the act to which
this is a supplement.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That in case of the death, resig-
nation, or refusal to act, of either of the commissioners ap-
pointed by this or the original act, then and in that case the
remaining commissioners, or a majority of them, shall have full
power and authority to elect a proper and suitable person or
persons to fill such vacancy.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That any three or more of the commissioners of the school fund
who have been or may be hereafter appointed for Saint Mary's
county agreeably to the provisions of the original act and sup-
plements thereto, to which this is a further supplement, be,
and they are hereby authorized to apply in said county its
legal proportion of the above mentioned fund, as they in their
judgment may deem meet, so as to accomplish the objects of the
above mentioned act and its several supplements.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That so much of the original
act, and supplements thereto, to which this is a further supple-
ment, as is inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be, and
the same is hereby repealed.
