SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That the board of commission-
ers shall have power to change the rate of tuition at any of
their annual meetings, seven members of said board concurring
therein.

SEC. 12. And be it enacted) That it shall be the duty of the
board of commissioners to keep a register of their proceeding
and expenditures, and to return an account of the same annu-
ally, between the second Monday of December, and the second
Monday of February, in each and every year, to the treasurer
of the western shore.

Form of
drafts.

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That all drafts of the commis-
sioners upon the treasurer, shall be substantially in the follow-
ing form; I ——— ——— president of the board of commissioners
pf the school fund for Montgomery county, am directed by said
board, five members being present, to call on the treasurer of
the western shore for the amount due to said county, on account
of the school fund aforesaid ; the treasurer will therefore pay
to the bearer — —— or order, such sum or sums as may be
due to the county as aforesaid, and his receipt will be good for
the same. —— —— ,

Extra

SEC. 14. And be it enacted. That nothing in this act con-
tained shall be contrued to prevent the commissioners appointed
in virtue of this act, from meeting quarter yearly, or as often as
they may think it necessary, or to prevent their meeting at any
place they may think proper, with a view of carrying into
effect the provisions of this act, or any of them ; Provided, that
said commissioners shall receive no compensation for atten-
dance, except at yearly meetings, as herein before provided for.

SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That all former acts or parts of
acts, or resolutions, inconsistent with or repugnant to the provi-
sions of this act, or any of them, be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Montgomery county be, and they are
hereby authorized and directed, to distribute the annual divi-
dends due from the bank stocks, hitherto invested as the free
school fund of Montgomery county, and their annual incoming
portion of the fund, in due proportions to the white population
of each election district in said county, and that they meet on
