ASSESSMENT.

near as practicable, the name and quantity of such real estate,
as also the name of the devisor, and the name or names of the
devisee or devisees.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said register of wills
shall be entitled to ask and receive the same rate of fees for
making out and delivering such list of alienations, changes or
transfers, of real estate as aforesaid, as the clerk of said county
is now entitled to receive for similar services, which said feea
shall be levied, collected and paid over, in the same manner as
the said clerk's fees are now or may hereafter be.

AN ACT for the re-valuation of Real and Personal Property in Dorchester
County.— 1831, ch. 253.

Allowance
therefor.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of the tax for Dorchester county, be,
and they are hereby authorized and directed immediately after
(he passage of this act, or as soon thereafter as may be prac-
ticable, to proceed agreeably to the provisions of the act, passed
at November session, eighteen hundred and twelve, entitled,
an act for the valuation of real and personal property in the
several counties of this state, to re-value and re-assess the real
and personal property within said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners be,
and they are hereby authorized to complete the said assess-
ment, and make return thereof agreeably to the provisions of
the forty-fifth section of the before recited act, on or before the
first day of August next, any law to the contrary notwith-
standing.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That John Mure, John Donevan,
John Newton, Solomon Kirivan, and Thomas I. Pattison, be,
and they are hereby appointed commissioners of the tax for
Dorchester county, and are hereby authorized and empowered
to carry into effect and operation all the provisions of this act,
and the act of eighteen hundred and twelve, entitled, an act
for the valuation of real and personal property in the several
counties of this state.
