BALTIMORE COUNTY.

Proviso.

the same are hereby repealed ; Provided ahvays, that any
application heretofore made, or now pending in Baltimore
county, or the said levy court under the provisions of any
such former act or acts may be proceeded on, and shall have
the same effect as if such former act or acts had not been
repealed.

A SUPPLEMENT to the ACT, entitled, an Act to regulate the manner of
obtaining and altering Public Roads in Baltimore County, passed at
December session, eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chapter two hun
dred and nineteen. — 1831, ch.60.

Time
extended.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the period of six months prescribed in the twelfth section
of the act to which this is a supplement, for the opening and
clearing roads, as therein mentioned, be, and the same is
hereby extended to twelve months.

To operate.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the period of twelve months
as above provided, shall be allowed in regard to roads already
designated to be opened, and as to roads coming within the
operation of the said original act.

Vacancies.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That in all cases where commis-
sioners have been appointed or may hereafter be appointed to
open, straighten or amend any road, and a vacancy shall or
may have occurred, by death, resignation, or refusal to act, the
commissioners of Baltimore county shall fill such vacancy
immediately thereafter.
1837, ch. 259, sec. 3, see 'County Commissioners,' authorizes them
to increase the allowance not exceeding 75 cents.

REGISTER OF WILLS.
AN ACT requiring the Register of Wills of Baltimore County, to give
daily attendance at his office. — 1802, ch. 98.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, it shall, and it is hereby
declared to be, the duty of the register of wills of Baltimore
county to give daily attendance at his office in the city of Bal-
timore, either in person or by deputy, for the purpose of dis-
charging the duties incident thereto.

REVENUE, SURPLUS.
A further SUPPLEMENT to the ACT, entitled, an Act to invest the State's
share of the Surplus Revenue of the United States, and for other pur
poses, passed at December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-six,
chapter two hundred and twenty. — 1837, ch. 305.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore be, and he is hereby autho-
rized and required to pay to the commissioners of Baltimore
county, to the commissioners of tax of Carroll county, and the
levy court of Frederick county, or to their orders respectively,
