AN ACT to increase the pay of the Judges of the Orphans Court for Anne

 

Arundel County.— 1818, ch. 182.

Allowance

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,

increased.

That from and after the passage of this act, each judge of the

 

orphans court of Anne Arundel county, be, and he is hereby

 

entitled to receive, in lieu of his present per diem, the sum of

 

three dollars for every day's attendance.

 

NOTE.— 1828, ch. 12, was repealed by 1829, ch.43, which was repealed

 

by 1831, ch. 248, which was modified by 1836, ch. 18.

 

AN ACT to regulate the meetings of the Orphans Court of Anne Arundel

 

County .—1831, ch. 248.

Term fixed.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the regular terms of the orphans court of Anne Arundel

 

county, shall be held on the second Tuesday in every month of

 

February, April, June, August, October and December, and

 

the said court shall, by its adjournment, if necessary for the

 

despatch of business, be held on the Tuesday of every week in

 

the year, other than the weeks of the regular terms.

SEO. 2. And be it enacted, That the said orphans court shall

 

set for the transaction of business, from nine o'clock, A. M. until

 

three o'clock, P. M. and the sessions of said court, shall not at

 

any time exceed one day, except at the regular time of holding

 

the county courts of said county, when the said orphans court
