SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That a majority of the field and
staff officers of each regiment, may make all minor by-laws, for

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|

That so much of the sixth section of the act, relating to the
Maryland Penitentiary, to which this is a supplement, as autho-
|
appointing

rizes the warden thereof, annually, to appoint an assistant war-
|
|
den, be, and the same is hereby repealed, and that the authority
|
|
thereby conferred upon said warden, be, and the same is hereby
|
|
in the same manner, and to the same extent, vested in the direc-
|
|
tors of said penitentiary.
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the thirteenth section of
|

said act, December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-seven,
chapter three hundred and twenty, be, and the same is hereby
|
act of 1837,

repealed.
