A COMMISSION to examine EVIDENCES.

To A. B. C. D. E. F. G. h. of
county, greeting--Know ye, that we have appointed
you, or any three or two of you, our
commissioners to examine witnesses in a certain
matter of controversy in our prerogative
court depending, between M. N. libellant and
O. P. respondent, and that at such time and
place as you our said commissioners or any three
or two of you, shall think proper to appoint,
after having given timely notice to the said
parties, you cause to come before you, or any
three or two of you, all such evidences as shall
be produced and nominated by the aforesaid
parties, as well plaintiff as defendant, and that
you examine them and every of them on their
corporal oath, to be by you administered on
the holy evangels of almighty God touching
their knowledge of, or in any thing, that may
in any way relate to the said controversy, and
that reducing into writing their several depositions,
you send the same with this our commission
close under your hand and seals, with
