No. IV.

LETTERS TESTAMENTARY--that is, where
        an Executor is appointed by the Will.
 

MARYLAND, sc.  The right honourable Henry
                                Harford, Esquire, absolute
        lord and proprietary of the province of
        Maryland.
 

    To all persons to whom these presents shall
come, greeting--Know ye, that upon the
            day of                Anno domini,
before
gent. deputy commissary of
county, duly thereto constituted and appointed
by our commissary general and judge for probate
of wills, and granting administrations within
the province aforesaid, the last will and testament
of
late of                        county, deceased, was in
common form of law proved, approved, and
exhibited, a copy of which to these presents
annexed, and administration of all and singular
the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased,
lying and being within 
and any way concerning his will, was granted
unto
the executor in and by said will named and appointed,
