Employees: None.

Function: To advance the economic and cultural welfare of the people
of the Delmarva Peninsula with programs and activities to develop
the resources and economic activities of the area.

Head: Director appointed by library committee.

Members: Library committee—3 members—appointed by a majority of the
judges of the Court of Appeals—serve without compensation.

Term: No statutory provision.
Removal: No statutory provision.

Employees: Director and all employees are exempt from the merit system
under Md. Code Ann., art. 64A, § 4. At present, there are 7 em-
ployees.

Function: Director shall have laws, journals and documents of General As-
sembly bound and distributed; and sell same. Library is depository
of State agency publications and all codes published by local gov-
ments.

Society, president of Board of Trustees of Peabody Institute.—No
compensation.
