Removal: Md. Code Ann., art. 1A, § 3. Removal by the governor for ineffi-
ciency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office upon being given
notice in writing of the charge made against him and an opportunity
to appear in person and with counsel for the purpose of making
such defense thereto as he may have.

Employees: Director of aeronautics appointed by Commission who serves an
indefinite term at the pleasure of the Commission. His removal
is at the discretion of the Commission for malfeasance, etc. Said
removal is determined by majority vote of Commission. Director
subject to approval of the Commission and appoints all other
employees. 2 merit and 1 unclassified employees.

Function: General supervision and development of aeronautics.
Bank Commissioner

clusive of national banks. Annual report to governor.

Banking Board

Members: 3 members appointed by the governor from banking associa-
tions. Comptroller, ex officio.

Term: 6 years, staggered.

Removal: No statutory provision.
