Head: Investment administrator.

Members: Investment administrator selected by several boards of
trustees of retirement system.

Term: Indefinite.

Removal: Serves at pleasure of said boards and "shall not be a member
of the merit system." Md. Code Ann., art. 73B, § 46.

Function: Carries out investment policies of several boards.

Head: Appointed by the governor, with the consent of the Senate.

Term: At the pleasure of the governor.

Removal: At the pleasure of the governor.

Employees: 11 employees.

Function: Custodian of the Great Seal of the State, certifies the results of
al referenda and constitutional amendments submitted to the
electorate, and keeps and publishes results of elections held in the
State. Publishes all administrative regulations of state agencies,
which must be filed with him. Must keep a record of all charitable
organizations and contributions received by them. Receives records
from all candidates for office of all contributions and expenditures.
