on Executive nominations.

Mr. Bowie, from the Committee on Executive nominations,
submitted the following report:

The Committee on Executive nominations report favorably
on all the accompanying nominations, except that of David
H. Straughn, as Notary Public at Snow Hill, on which they
report adversely, and also advise that the nominations of
Wm. W. Davis, of Caroline county, as Justice of the Peace,
and of Simeon N. Ward, of Caroline county, as Notary Pub-
lic, at Greensborough, be hold under advisement.
