Mr. Vickers submitted the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

March 23, 1867.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We purpose, with the concurrence of your Honorable body,
the appointment of the Secretary of the Senate to have the
Hall of. the House of Delegates furnished with seats and
desks, and arranged for the meening of the Constitutional
Convention as soon as practicable, after it shall be ascertained
that said Convention is to meet, and the appointment of the
State Librarian to procure the necessary stationery for the
Convention.

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.
Mr. Kimmel submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

March 23,1867.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We respectfully ask you to return to this body the bill en-
titled, an Act to repeal an Act passed March 20, 1865, enti-
tled a further supplement to an Act to incorporate Companies
to make several turnpike roads through Baltimore county,
and for other purposes.

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing messages:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES.

March 23, 1867.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message, proposing the appoint-
ment of the Secretary of the Senate to have the Hall of the
House of Delegates furnished with seats and desks, and ar-
ranged for the Constitutional Convention, and the appoint-
ment of the State Librarian to procure the necessary station-
ery for the said Convention, and concur therein.
