The bill was then read the third time and rejected for want
of a Constitutional majority by yeas and nays as follow :

Mr. Earle, gave notice that he would within the time al-
lowed by the rules of the Senate move a reconsideration of
the vote by which said bill was rejected.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered resolutions
from Committee on Federal Relations relating to compensa-
tion for slaves ;

Which were read the first time and referred to the.Commit-
tee on Federal Relations.

On motion by Mr. Tome

The Senate adjourned until to-morrow at 10 o'clock A. M.

SATURDAY, March 23, 1867.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 22, 1867.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message asking the return of the
bill entitled, an Act to repeal the law prohibiting liquor to
be sold at Woodbury, in Baltimore county, and hereby return

the same.
