784 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 22,

Public General Laws, to be entitled "Public Roads in Caro-
line County," being under consideration;

The Committee on Judicial Proceedings submitted the fol-
lowing amendments:

Add in second line of title after the word "county," the
following: "Talbot county."

In section 1, in second line, strike out the word "county,"'
and insert the word "counties."

Amend 2d section in 1st line alter the word "of," and in-
sert the words "either of," and in the said first line strike
out the word "county" and insert the word "counties."

In section 6, after the word "Caroline" in the 4th line,
insert the word "or Talbot."

In section 7, line 1, after the word "Commissioners," in-
sert the words "of said counties."

In section 8, line 1, after the word "Commissioners," in-
sert the words "of the respective counties."

In section 8, line 2, after the word "county," insert the
words "and Talbot county."

Which were read and adopted.

The bill was then read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays as follow:

The Clerk of the Houae of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing message:

BY THE HOUSE OP DELEGATES.

March 22, 1867.
Gentlemen of the Senate: -

We have received your message proposing the appointment
of a Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of the
two Houses on the general appropriation bills, and concur
therein.

We have appointed on the part of this House Messrs. Wil-
liams, Hammond and Gorsuch.
