Mr. Earle moved that the Senate insist upon its amend-
ments to the Militia bill;

On the question being put,

It was determined in the affirmative by yeas and nays as

Mr. Earle submitted the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

March 22, 1867.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We have received your message declining to concur in the
Senate amendments to the Militia bill, and would inform you
that the Senate insists on its amendments. We propose,
with the concurrence of your Honorable Body, the appoint-
ment of a Committee of Conference of one on the part of the
Senate and two on the part of the House, as the readiest
mode of securing the consummation of the bill. We have
named on the part of the Senate, .Mr. Earle.

A. GASSAWAY,
Secretary.

The question then recurred upon the adoption of the mesage.

And it was determined in the affirmative.

The message was then sent to the House of Delegates.

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Ma-
rine Sectional Dock Company ;
Being under consideration,

The Committee on Corporations submitted the following
