The Sergeat-at-Arms was sent to notify the absent Senators
that their presence was required in the Senate Chamber.

On motion by Mr. Tome,
The Senate adjourned until 8 o'clock, P. M.

WEDNESDAY, March 20, 8 o'clock P. M.

On motion by Mr. Henkle.

The Senate took up for consideration,

The bill entitled, an Act to provide for taking the sense of
the people of the State on a call of a Convention to frame a
new Constitution and form of Government, and for assembling
the members thereof.

The question on the passage of the bill was determined in
the affirmative by yeas and nays as follow (two-thirds of all
the Senators elected voting in the affirmative):
