Said bill was then returned to the House of Dele'gates.

The bill entitled, an Act to create a Board of Commission-
ers to keep open the harbor of Baltimore, and the access
thereto from obstruction by ice and for harbor and river re-
lief;

Being under consideration,

The Committee on Corporations submitted the following
amendment :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend section 1, line 1 and 2, by striking out after the
word "that," to the words "the President," inline 2;

Amend section 8, line 9, by striking out the word "twen-
ty," and inserting in its place, the word "ten," also, at end
of said line, strike out the word "equally;"

Amend section 5, line 10, strike out the words "State and;"

Amend section 5, line 24, by striking out the word "of,"
and insert the words "belonging to;"

After section 7, insert additional section, to read section
8, And be it enacted, That the General Assembly reserves to
itself the right to repeal, alter, change or amend this Act at
its pleasure;

Section 8. Amend by changing the numbering of this sec-
tion to read section 9;

Which were read and adopted.

The bill was then ordered to lie over.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to authorize
the Courts of this State to decree the sale of land in certain
cases where infants and non-residents are interested;

Reported it without amendment;

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to authorize
and require the County Commissioners of Allegany County
