The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the bill en-
titled, an Act to authorize the Board of Public Works to vote
the stock of the State in the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal
Company for a President and four Directors upon the nomina-
tion of the holders of preferred bonds of said Company;
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Internal Improvements.
The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Frederick and
Pennsylvania Railroad Company,
Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as

rebuilding of the Hay Scales in the city of Baltimore;
