on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Bowie from the Committee on Federal Relations sub-
mitted the following report:

On motion by Mr. Earle,

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled, an Act to repeal Article 63, Code of Public General
Laws, relating to Militia, and sections 652 to 770, both inclu-
sive, of Acticle 4, Code of Public Local Laws, relating to
militia in the city of Baltimore, and to re-enact the said Arti-
cle 63, with amendments;

Mr. Stephenson submitted the following amendment:

Amend section 2, by striking out the word "five," and in-
serting the word "three;"

Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment to the
amendment:

Insert "three thousand and five hundred dollars," in the
place of "five thousand dollars;"

The question on the adoption of the amendment to the
amendment,
